Good point, and confirms my initial thoughts.  Have had my eye on a new Noveske, but thinking it can wait.

yes... fo. and if its an sp-1 carbine, you should have already. Colt only made the sp1 carbine from 1977 to 1985.

I traded a bushmaster patrolmans carbine for my sp1 rifle. In 2011, i received an email from my local gun store saying thy had an sp1 carbine and had it listed for 699.00. I called them up and asked if they still had it. he said yes and i told him ill be right over. swiped my card and ran before they changed their minds.

it may just be me but...  there is just something about watching the smoke rise up from the triangle handgards of the sp1.

I saw two Colt SP-1s about 75% for $1,500 each at Cabela's today.

I'd buy it.
I still have mine that I bought in 1978, with money saved from my H.S. job working at a car wash-gas station.
I think I paid $250.00 for it. (lot's $$$ money at $2.00 per hour)

I bought one of these a few weeks ago.  I'm kinda surprised they are still in stock. I wasn't looking for one in particular but I don't think the price can be beat. Really nice little rifle and oddly, PSA shipped it the very next day lol.
