Have ar10 mags been standardized?? Never considered one over an m14 clone...... But the price on AR10's bow is very tempting.

What it offers, is the Wilson Combat name on a .308 AR. Something no other rifle can claim.

There's room for them at the top.... but I don't see any quick change clasps on the side... they definitely add something to the rifle.

Just like the 3000 dollar 1911's that have been sent back

Especially given WC's lack luster 5.56 models one can only assume this will be lacking in the features dept that would justify such a price.

Agreed. I'll be getting the LMT personally. And, of course, since it says Wilson on the receiver they'll ask a mint for it. They are awfully proud of their shit.

Those 'sub standard' barrels are shooting pretty well.  Especially since LT has been shipping 'good' ones on their rifles for a while now.
And if JP is the Aston Martin of rifles, then LT is Lamborgini, and KAC is McLaren.

Spikes makes the ST-15 Rifle

The Nation of Bulgaria makes several firearms including the AKS.

Show me in the Colt catalog where they sell a handgun known as the 1911.  I see a Colt 1991.  Do you mean that?

No.  The industry works on patents and intellectual property to determine who makes what so that if you want something from one manufacturer, another substandard company cannot come in and trick  you into thinking you are getting the other's product.  See how that works?

It's an AR-derivative rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester. What other rifle is like that? Hmmm...oh yeah, the AR10. It's an AR10 just like an AR-derivative rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm/.223 Remington is an AR15.

AR-10 is a copyrighted name. That's why companies never call them that, only uninformed people. Plus most 308 ARs share no parts commonalty with the AR-10.

No.   Only Armalite makes the AR-10.

DPMS makes the LR-308, not the DPMS AR-10.  KAC makes the SR-25, not the KAC AR-25.

It would be disingenuous and intellectual lazy to call the Wilson the Wilson LR-308 derivative.
