I follow him on Facebook and I vaguely know him from TFL back in the day, but he's not really even an acquaintance, much less a friend, and I'm sure he has a LOT of people trying to get an "in" to Baen from him.  I'd feel like a shitheel doing that.
I do wish he would pick my book to do a "book bomb" on, though...

I'm going to.  I've been kicking around plot ideas recently.  I need to finish the sequel to Birthright first though.  It's coming a bit slower than I'd like.

I'm currently reading "Birthright" now.  I'm 75% finished with it.  I actually like it better than "Duty, Honor, Planet".  I will be buying the sequel whenever you get finished with it.
I think that I'm going to have to add you to my list of authors that I always buy their latest works. (John Campbell, Mike Shepherd, E. E. Knight, etc)

Read part one and then I bought part two. Still working my way through it but love both stories.

Thanks, glad you like it.  Make sure you leave a review for the books, if you wouldn't mind.

I'm sure there are several of us who would be more than happy to proof/edit any early copy.

Everytime I get something for free. It always cost me something.

Its like someone farting next to you. Then you you tell him it stinks, they tell you it was free.

LOL - I can afford a couple of bucks to buy it.

[ETA] Your next book should have an awesome character named Zhukov. He could be like a fat superman, solving crimes using spreadsheets.

Read the first one and thought it was pretty good. I need to go back, read it again, and then read the rest of the trilogy.

Screw it, I just bought the trilogy. I’m sort of backed up in my reading and don’t know when I’ll get the chance to read it. But I liked the first one enough to justify spending the money to have all three.
