I had a tough guy client do that, actually a scrawny guy who thought he was tough. Turns out he had 53 prior convictions and was at court for some felony, don't remember what. I was reading his sentencing papers and in KS three person misdemeanors counts as a person felony for sentencing purposes, he was going to the big house. Cried like a little girl and blamed everyone but himself. Of course it was my fault too. Idiot.
