Why do the bus stop people "protect" Jack Reacher after he gets out of the Chevelle and not turn him over to the cops?

Have you ever noticed all the skells on the bus? Why would they want to help the jbt's?

In da hood common folk no friend of da popo and the inverse in also true

Because it was funny.
Because he so calmly stepped out of the car and joined them. They were impressed. |

Black guy have lice? Hope he washed his hair after that midget wore his hat.

Because it was an awesome end to a awesome car chase, and in the end we watch movies to be entertained.
This does not apply to Fury, which was supposed to be a fucking documentary, damnit. |

Out of all the scenes to over think in all the movies, you choose that one?

Yeah, unfortunately I've learned that behavior.
Oh look, there's cops over there. ===> <==== I'm going over here. If we don't meet, nobody can start any shit. It's cheaper and causes less headache that way. If you've ever watched Phil Robertson on Duck Dynasty, every time there's a mention of a game warden, he's like "no" or just vacates the area. |

I don't like cops nearby. Proximity = risk. Even if I'm doing nothing wrong and they aren't investigating me....you can't get tangled up in a cop/bad-guy situation if you aren't around both at the same time. I don't know who the bad guys are in every situation, but I do know who the cops are. Furthermore, more cops = more probability of bad-guys since I doubt that cops hang out in areas where bad-guys aren't likely to be. |

Because it made a cool scene
I have a question Why did the marine fire in the air his first shots instead of at the muzzle flashes of the sniper shooting at reacher? Nobody knew he was there but he announced himself and gave away his position. |

He had no intention of firing on the sniper, he even told Reacher that. All he did was provide a distraction to allow Reacher to get into position. |

That was a time where everyone was paranoid about bad guys and terrorists. That year in particular if you saw a guy fuck up a Chevelle running from 200 police cars you wouldn't hand the guy your hat |

I don't watch movies with that anti-gun, bi-sexual lunatic Cruise in them.

But then he did start shooting at the sniper but the sniper then knew where he was. Why not shoot at the flash you may get lucky and will provide the same distraction if you mis, then move if he was worried about them knowing where he was but he stayed there while getting shot at.. hmm still makes no sense to me |
