Hello
I've been a LONG time lurker on this forum, and I've learned a lot about guns and American culture here. So i wanted to give you guys an equal opportunity to learn something about my country (since most of the stuff in the media internationally is BS). I'm 22 now, so my knowledge is limited in some areas, but ask away and i will answer. Also, it would be nice if people would restrain themselves from making racist comments Cheers Miroslav |

Can you send me cheap PAP parts and ammo? I'll send you porn in trade.

I worked with a Croat in the 90s, he didn't have a lot of nice things to say about Serbs.
|
|
Are you in Serbia or the US?
I guess the whole fracas was before your time, how do Serbians feel about the US? Do you feel somewhat vindicated in your war on the Muslims in BH with all that's happened since 9/11? Are you REALLY Serbian, your English appears impeccable! Certainly better than most of the native-born mouthbreathers here... |
|
Welcome to Arfcom, OP!!! I hear the Serbs are fanatics about their showers and that they have some awesome black market shower heads. Is this true? |
|
What's with the damn 90210 stickers on every yugo ak or sks I get?

Welcome. Send pics of women.
If you learned about American culture from Ar15.com and GD in particular then you are one highly educated 22 year old |

Well played, serb. Well played. |

How is the gun culture/laws there?
How do you feel about Milosevic?
|

We definitely did not bomb the wrong people. We bombed em too late if anything.
Serb, welcome to the site, we don't blame you for the actions of the regime at that time. You call an AK a "76"? |
|
Well, Serbs hate it too because it links us to a trashy gore-flick. It's not even that gross if you watch some of the more exotic Japanese offerings Originally Posted By KC-130 FLT ENG:

I worked with a Croat in the 90s, he didn't have a lot of nice things to say about Serbs. Yeah, that hate is long lasting. Serbs and Croats are like... Israeli and Palestinians pretty much, without the whole "shooting rockets every day" deal. |

What do Serbians think of Americans, in general? Be honest. View Quote Honestly, older people hate the USA. '99 left a bad taste. Also, US backed Albanians in the taking of Kosovo, so there is no love lost there. Younger generations (under 30) are cool with USA, we understand that the world politics isn't connected to average Joes. But Serbians also hate the EU, Germany, France, Italy, Croatia, Albania.... I wish i was in the US I answered the second question above And thanks, my parents sent me to language school when i was six, so I've been learning English for as long as my own native language Quoted:

Not sure why people would make racist comments but the geo-political/religious goings on in that region are as murky TO ME as much of what's happening in the Middle East.
Can you break it down for someone on the outside trying to understand. |

View Quote At my last gig we'd send people all over Eastern Europe and other places to do training. Anywhere in the fmr Yugoslavia was considered a damn good gig. Everybody said it was beautiful, good food, good and under-rated (or unknown) wine, and nice people. Just in some places don't leave the road. Also, I've heard it's still pretty cheap but might be changing as people discover it's a really nice place. OP, recommend some wine. |
