From a combat standpoint, none of those options work out to a winning scenario for me.

I noticed the same thing that the first guy that fought noticed. He's going after a trained fighter who's very quick and knows how to read a punch.

Me? If I could pop Tyson in the knee with the Lorcin, I'd have a chance. If I missed the first shot, my new screen name would be Bloody Pulp.

Mike Tyson in his prime was a MONSTER.  Other fighters were terrified of him.  

I worked with a golden gloves boxer at my last job.  He was before Mikes time but even he said that he would not fight Mike.  

Mike was super fast and strong.  His punches were equated to a sledge hammer, and that is other fighters discribing it.  

If Mike landed one punch on the head of any normal person they would be KO at a minimum if not dead.

While I have NOT been directly hit by a professional boxer - I did hold the bag while a recently retired former champion hit said bag umpteen zillion times in about .000006 seconds. I had him by 50 pounds and about 1/2 foot.....I left the room with a higher respect for the threat a top level boxer poses to the connectivity of my brain tissue.

I would take the pistol and shoot myself with it. Hopefully that wouldn't hurt as bad as Mike beating me to death.

I'd rather have a pot of boiling water.

The hardest I've ever been hit in my life in the face was by a piece of drill stem that kicked off while water well drilling.  Knocked be back, heels dragging.  Thought I was going to be missing teeth. Boss already has hi phone out and was dialing 911 because he was sure I was straight fucked up.



I was fine.  





I can't even believe how much it would suck to take a blow from Tyson as a layman.  Shit would be devastating.

You are close but are missing a key point. Yeah, the guys he faced in the ring were boxers. And ONE thing that means is that there were rules to the fights he fought with referees and judges and big money on the line. Now take that same guy and fight him with no rules and he is fighting for his life.

Well I can't out run him, or for that matter reason with him, I'll take the Lorcin. If I can hit him once, fine, more than once, fantastic.
I imagine that if I could run a 10" long, 1/4" drill bit into any man's chest it would take a lot of fight out of him. Even if he beat me into

I have a good friend who back in the day would not listen to me, he insisted on sitting next to Chuck Wepner at a local club.




It was like half Rock & Roll and half disco.




He insisted on telling Chuck how good a boxer he was and how he thinks he might be able to take him in a street fight.




Chuck looked at me standing next to my Buddy who was seated next to Chuck.




I held up both hands , palms out and said "he's on his own"




Chuck wasn't scared there might be 2 guys involved there, he just wanted to make sure how many punches to throw.
Now to be honest, I was in really good shape and was fighting once a month (strictly amateur) but there are huge differences between a pro and an amateur which my buddy was about to find out.




Chuck said to my Buddy, are you ready?

Jimmy said yep, Chuck shot out a jab that knocked my buddy Jimmy off the bar stool and  into what I refer to as lala land.




He didn't get up right away (lucky for him) as I believe Mr Wepner would have thrown one more punch.




Chuck Wepner looked at me and said "have a good night" , I said "you too Mr Wepner"
He left the club and I help my Buddy Jimmy to his feet, his nose was as broken as I have ever seen from a fight, but this was no fight, it was one punch which I almost didn't see because it was that fast.




Chuck Wepner was never known for his speed, he was a brawler, his nick name was the Bayonne Bleeder.
He did give Ali a hard time and made Chucks stock go up some.
A pro boxer , even an out of shape Mike Tyson can kill you in a heart beat.
     
 

I think the problem is, they have never faced a bat or knife before, let alone a fist.

But, training at the local dojo and/or having a gun makes them badasses.

Baseball bat -- Probably have it taken from me and then used to beat to death with it

Tactical folding knife -- MAYBE a .0001% chance of a lucky slash with it, before I'm knocked out.

.25 Lorcin -- If I manage a heart or CNS shot would be the only way, but I would not like to bet on that.



So in other words 99.9% overall chance I'm getting my ass kicked.

I'd go for the gun, shoot someone else in the leg, and then run away as Tyson devours that person.

I would just shove the bat up my anus and save Mike the trouble.
