There's no way I can describe the energy here in KC. My daily travels take me nowhere near the K, and a solid 90% of the people I've seen today are smiling and wearing blue. The game hasn't started and my pulse is already rising. What is it like now? I'm in my recliner. |

Luckily, all the Foxsperts picked KC to win the series. Yeah, about that... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes It ain't over just yet. In the previous 108 World Series, 63 percent of Game 1 winners went on to win the title. But in the past 17 World Series, 15 Game 1 winners won the series; the exceptions are the 2002 Giants and 2009 Phillies. If the Giants win, they'll look to join the 56 percent of road teams to win Game 1 and also win the series (25-of-45). But since 1982, only 5 of 12 road teams to win Game 1 also won the series.
Here is the next 3 pitching matchups. Peavy (7-13) at Ventura (14-10) Guthrie (13-11) at Hudson (9-13) Vargas (11-10) at Vogelsong (8-13) |

Stay Classy Strickland.
In other news, Lorenzo Cain got a ticket in front of an elementary school. He was running 20.4 mph. |

Strickland gave up another homer. Pretty sure Bochy won't be using him again. I still can't figure out why he was pissed at Perez.

Perez asked "you talking to me"... Strickland yelled "get in the dugout" Then Perez yelled back and probably said something like "hey bro you need to chill out" Strickland "FU I'll kick your ass" Or something like that. |

They got hot at just the right time, and their opponents went into a slump. 162 totals games is more than enough to prove who the actual good teams are. But instead you have these two teams that have been okay all year and they're representing as the "best team in the NL and AL". It's a joke. And just goes to show, the better team doesn't always win. |

Maybe the best teams are wore slap out while the shitty teams have kept a pace. I have no doubt that if Molina would've not gotten hurt they would be battling right now and come on top in 7.
