View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Also...I miss the idea of someone capturing and doing research on them. . George Romero beat this to death - really don't miss it myself. But that guy with the glasses that worked for the governor did just that - remember? there are things we've Earned, like they ignore you if covered in guys, if you have the armless jawless escorts, you get left alone...what else? I like the story line, and contrary to some, I like the setting of the table so to spew and back stories, but at some point, this IS a zombie show, and something needs to happen. Also, is there news of anyplace else? Noah told us about Virginia, but was someone able to make a stand and hold out? |

Better question, how did she manage to get hit by the only moving car in downtown Atlanta?? In the middle of the day. With no noise. Its stuff like this that really makes the series harder and harder to watch. A working water cannon on a non-running firetruck? Ground glass in the fuel lines causing the bus engine to blow up? Drawing up meds mixed in water to give IV? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Any idea why Carol was sticking those fish-tank nets out the window in one of the flashbacks? Better question, how did she manage to get hit by the only moving car in downtown Atlanta?? Ground glass in the fuel lines causing the bus engine to blow up? Drawing up meds mixed in water to give IV? in a scrounging/end of the world scenario, the medicine thing would make sense for some meds. it would have to be ground into a much finer powder and mixed with sterile water or saline, but it's not that far fetched. some meds are already in powdered form with a self contained mixer...rocephin, solu-medrol, and glucagon for off the top of my head examples. |

Just a thought here. I know the show is not about the Zombies...it's about dealing wiz the living...but I do think it would be a good time to incorporate a new zombie type...sort of a mutation of sorts. Maybe someone gets bit and turns, but is faster, more dangerous, or something else...I know there is nothing me under the sun when it comes to this genre, but it could make for an interesting plot twist/oh shit moment. Also...I miss the idea of someone capturing and doing research on them. The zombies are now background clutter, and while they don't need to dominate the show, they do need to be a bit more prominent than just an annoyance. I don't know...but the zombies need to be more than just a prop. They don't need to dominate the show, but they need to be more. Maybe the zombie research can be done in Virginia that Noah was talking about, and that can somehow be disseminated to survivors. Also, I'd love to FINALLY come across a band that isn't batshit crazy. There's got to be someone, that while traumatized by the apocalypse, is still dep down, GOOD. Everyone can't simply be evil or hiding evil. There needs to be enough of a ray of sunshine to give hope...and that way, when the door slams shut, it's not the release of death, but truly tragic. How would you suggest the show do this Remember, the zombies are just a prop, part of the setting to explore the interactions of the cast It is primarily a character-driven show about the survivors and their actions in the new world around them You just identified the primary problem with the writing. Why bother to make a zombie show when you do nothing with the zombies but make them a prop? That's why there is all the contrived drama. You have the dead walking around eating people, which is this huge paradigm shift in the survivors' existence, yet it's just backdrop to the writers. Freakin' brilliant, says I! |

Wheres the roaming packs of wild dogs chowing down on walkers? A couple of seasons back a dog or two was shown feasting on a corpse. I could imagine a larger predator, such as grey wolves could have a feast on smaller packs of walkers. A walker mega herd would be hard to attack. Walkers are slower, but the don't appear to get tired. Would animals feeding on Walkers get sick and die off? Not necessarily. There are many animals eat carrion. It hasn't really been addressed how the walkers react to animals. I would love to see a scene where a small pack of walkers was being harassed by a murder of crows or vultures. |

How come they use actors dressed up like zombies and not the real ones?
I just don't get this, if it's a reality show. How can it not have real zombies? Good news is it's official GD can take on any army in world, Alton Brown is a ARFCOM member and all 415,523 registered members date or are married to 105lb super models |
