Baby on the way. I come to the hive for insight on what I need and where can I find it.

Better yet, where can I find baby gear (stroller, bags, bottles, pumps....) that isn't emasculating. Isn't fathering children one of the main stays of being a male. Why do I have to give that up just because a squishy poop machine that will one day mow my lawn is set to come tearing out of bits I can only hope will one day recover? Why is it all overpriced cheap molded plastic? What am I to do?

Help me hive, you're my only hope.

ETA: Thanks CWO and rest.

I figured that wouldn't be too tall of and order.

Here's what I have for a diaper bag:

It's compact, but it will hold the necessities, especially for everyday situations.  It even has a built-in newborn diaper pad:

Um, not sure why you need a manly pump, yours are just for decoration...

www.dadgear.com has some o.k. bags. (my wife won me a woodland camo bag for me for my last kid)

We are expecting again, and its a boy this time, so I am on hunt for manly stuff too.

for the bottles, maybe get clear ones with the liners then duracoat the shell

You keep saying that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Don't get a shitty stroller though.  Trying to push a plastic framed POS is an exercise in frustration.

This.

OP, I think you mean the opposite of what you're saying.  And I'm with you.  I'm not sure why everything baby-related has to be cutesy.  Babies don't know either way!

Congrats, BTW.

I got a Maxpedition bag for mine. My wife's bag must weigh 25 pounds. No way I was carrying that. Plus, mine can be used for something else when it's done as a diaper bag.
