...For a thing.

I was sitting on the train this morning next to a really sexy Thai chick.

I thought to myself, "Please don't get an erection. Please don't get an erection."

But she did.

There was a thread not too long ago where some said the Netherlands(i think), good gun laws, like americans, and easy to move to unlike a larger percentage or europe.

Swissland would be great, but it's dam near impossible to move there.

Richest country in Europe. So small Putin may drive by it when he overruns the continent.

I would have to learn German, learn how to drive on snow and ice, and scout up crowd shots to see if the women are hot.

Vienna, Austria is my current front runner. I've also looked at Estonia, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and the Czech Republic. I'd move to London in a heartbeat if they ejected the Muslims.

Switzerland is god damn beautiful, the Swiss people are awesome, they build some damn fine looking women, have a better selection of beer than Germany, and are awfully god damn socialist.  However, they don't seem to have an FSA, the people who are being subsidized seem to be productive at least.  Must be cultural.  Make it my number 2.  Still, "freedom" isn't exactly their hallmark, from what I saw, which is truthfully little.

Which is why over 4,000 Americans filed papers to renounce their citizenship. As non-citizens, no IRS and tax filing with Uncle Sumbitch.

How does that work? Is that just for investments that they say you earned whilst still a citizen?

Worldwide earnings.  You still have to file, but for now there's a foreign earned income exclusion to a certain amount.  I  presume that will change eventually.

That is insane. I don't see how they justify that legally. Sad state of affairs.

I would think the USA, at it's worst 40 years from now will still be the best place to live.  But maybe a bunch of rich conservatives could buy some land, form a country and do better.

Czech republic. Most free country in the world right now.

Out of principle I'd make a bee line to Israel if they dropped their insane gun laws and I'd never look back.

So many!   Belize, Canada, Ireland, UK, France, Bulgaria, Italy, almost anywhere in the caribbean, Australia, NZ, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Poland, Denmark, France, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia....the list goes on and on.

Yes, I like my freedom to own firearms, but I'm not going to let that limit where I move to if I have to leave the US.  Too many wonderful places out there, to pare the list down by just that one qualifier.

Probably cross Latvia off the list..
High prices/cost of living. Low wages. Poor infrastructure. Rampant corruption.
But.. Hawt wimenz.

Pretty much any scandanavian or Germanic country I'd be happy in. The permitting process for firearms isn't cheap, but also isn't difficult. Several of them it is pretty easy to get a suppressor. Culturally though is where it shines. They are a mostly homogenous society that has a lot of pride in their heritage and will band together against foreign threats. In Germany public service is required, and fsa is almost non existent because culturally it is completely unacceptable.

I can't imagine leaving the US.  I am too old and "stove up" to start over, but if we had to leave it would most likely be to Denmark.  My husband is Danish, and his sister and her family are there so we would at least have an established home to go to.
