The Afghan soldiers had been participating in a U.S. Central Command Regional Cooperation training exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod, U.S. military officials said. They arrived at Camp Edwards on Sept. 11 and were last seen at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis.
The soldiers were reporting missing by base security personnel on Saturday night. They were identified as Major Jan Mohammad Arash, Captain Mohammad Nasir Askarzada and Captain Noorullah Aminyar. View Quote Link Is an attack imminent or did they just want to be illegal aliens and leave their families behind. The fact that there are 3, to me, means it was planned. Thoughts? |

Definitely sounds dicey.
Between this and the flood of them coming over the mexican border I'm confident that an attack is imminent at this point. Just who knows where and how bad it will be. |
Or they got here and saw how awesome it was and said "Fuck it, I'm not going back to Afghaniland."
CNN reported that they are not a danger to the public.
I think the season premier of "Dancing with the Stars" is on tonight. They probably will be watching that instead of ploting against us. |
Oh, those rascals...simply lost track of time (not to stereotype, but it's an Afghan thing).
I'm sure they'll turn up eventually. Ask how many Afghan Air Force guys the USAF lost in the U.S. I think it's in the dozens. |
Three , huh ?
Nothing to be concerned with. . . . . move along..... |
Hmmmm....
Come to the USA, train here, see how fucking awesome it is, and go back to Afghanistan? Fuck no.... between Afghanistan and Massachusetts.... I'd stay in Massachusetts.
Based on my experience in Cape Cod, they are in a restaurant somewhere waiting on the waitress to take their order. I found that if I was eating out in Hyannis, I needed to pack a lunch.
Better hurry up to Massachusetts and get my Mooslim license...

We take political refugees too....persecuted Christians from Iraq, Afg and just about anyplace else in the Mideast. Funny thing is, they start attending their local mosque one they get into this country.....
Gee, do you think they lied???? |
Holy crap thats like the 5 or 6th set of them to go missing in 24hrs
no worries...
I mean, when has an Afghan soldier hurt an American, right... "they've been thoroughly vetted" has already been stated, as well. |
Put people from third world shitholes into one of the nicest places in the USA and expect them not to stay? lol
Should have just put them up at the Ritz and said 'Welcome to what you don't have!' |
Hey it's not like there are goats on every corner in Cape Cod. They had to go farther afield and are just running a little late.

Great food but the bouncers and bar tenders have a pretty poor attitude towards service members and were constantly trying to elevate tension between friends in our party. Check the local jails?
Joining the party? |

Seems the two main theories are:
1) They like the USA and plan on staying 2) They are now a sleeper cell waiting to attack the US from within. |
They were just out looking for a Halal restaurant. All the seafood places were wrapping everything in bacon.

There are on their way to California
All the Afghans want to go there Quoted:

When I was a USAF munitions officer in the 1980's, I had 6 Pakistani AF munitions/maintenance officers come through on a "familiarization" tour. I provided a detailed briefing and tour, but the only thing they seemed interested in was getting to the BX. They never asked any questions except what time the BX closed and where it was located. The escort officer that accompanied them told me later they spent 3 hours in the BX, buying up anything small and expensive, like nice watches, electronics, etc. They then hit the base package store. By the time they got to their plane, each Pakistani was hauling 3 or 4 duffle bags absolutely packed with their loot. They viewed the expensive training TDY as just a visit to the great Satan's BX. We were not the only stop. The escort officer told me they had a couple dozen duffle bags filled already. He also told me that he was ordered to not take them off base for any reason, for fear they would "wander off".
My point being it would not surprise me if these guys already have relatives or friends in the US and just wanted to stay in the land of the great BX. |

They discovered alcohol and titty bars. They'll come back to base when they run out of money...
