Anyone happen to have a 7.5 , 8.5 and a 10.5 upper they can lay out and take pics of for size comparisons? This will prolly do double roles of HD, but mostly range toy. My stamp should be here pretty soon, and just cannot decide on which upper. Don't have any immediate plans for a 30cal can at the moment, however didn't envision SBR either so prolly will be coming. View Quote Go with the 10.5, I have one and it is very handy indoors and has much better ballistics than a 7 incher. |

radical gave me a out of spec upper. said it was fine even tough it wouldn't fit/function on 2 different companies lowers.
had to replace it with PSA YMMV but i'm done with them. |

What is the OAL of the 7.5? If no one answers for you before tomorrow morning I'll pull mine out and measure it before work. 7.5" AR pistol with a standard length pistol buffer is approximately 21.75" from end of buffer tube to bare muzzle, so it will be somewhere around there. |

I took it out this evening while I was dove hunting to just do a "make sure it shoots" test run. I ran 90 rounds of 55gr Federal .223 through it in fairly rapid succession. About 10 rounds into both the first and second mag, I had one shell get caught upon ejection. The new shell had been loaded and was in the chamber but the spent casing got caught for whatever reason upon eject. A half a second to clear and it shot fine for the rest of the mag. The last 30 shot mag ran flawless.
I shot it straight from the factory. I didn't lube it or anything like that. I'm sure it's dry as hell but I wanted to see what it would do It's freaking loud and the muzzle flash is impressive if you like that sort of thing. It does feel like a baby gun compared to my AR-10 as this is my first AR-15. |

Any other reviews from you guys that picked one up??? I'm set to be notified when they come back in stock. But I might just build my own depending on the reviews of these uppers.

I picked mine up today from the dealer. It seems nice. I oiled it up and worked the bolt a bunch. I have no idea when I'll go shooting with it. And I need to buy some optics for it. I'm think an eotech 552
I'm pretty sure it was me who got the last 10.5 556
