IIRC regs specifically mention no sales from a vehicle.

What about transfers? Are they considered firearm sales?

Yes

lol not in my City. You would laugh at what they had. I guess if you want chicom nylon and a promag.

My idea would go around the fact EVERYTHING is becoming online. I buy mags online, I buy ammo online. Would be pretty cool if I could get the gun mailed to my door to.

First van to be run off the road, pried open with a can opener cause the driver/FFL/owner is unconcious from rolling the van down the hill, and then robbed by MS-13, would be the end of it. You'd need to rent vans by the hour and change them frequently to prevent this. It's a lot easier to rob one guy in a truck than to come into a brick and mortar potential fortress...

Oh, and the ATF is not going to change anything to facilitate getting guns into the hands of lawful buyers..

Weld up something similar to a Brinks truck. Shit or just buy one.

Work the same system. One driver one guy in the back.

Are they supposed to fit all of the possible accessories and ammo for every possible gun delivery in that tiny truck too? Usually when people buy a gun they pick up more than just the gun, slings, sights, ammo, magazines, gun case, etc.

You must have a physical address for your FFL. I seriously doubt "in back of a truck" would be a valid address.

Park bench works for voter address...

How many in the know people have to tell you it's not legal or going to happen?

Not so much Lee Harvey as James Earl Ray, Sirhan Sirhan and the race riots of the late '60's.

It sucked because of a poor business model or idea.

No one or very few will pay that high a fee to have the gun delivered.

Second, what insurance co would pick up that liability?

Gun owners complain about FFL fees for transfers already.  Do you think they'd actually pay even more so they don't have to get off the couch for more than a few minutes?  You maybe on to something.

That's a good point - the upcharge would be horrendous.

But another factor is, they can't do the NICS check until the weapon changes hands, so ... they'd have to do it upon delivery.  That could eat up time depending on how long the check takes.

However the most important factor is ... safety.  The FFL has security already set up in the place of business.   But out on delivery, who's to say the recipient isn't planning on mugging the FFL?   Bit risky if you ask me.

You mean just like it used to be, before the 1968 Gun Control Act?!

Everyone here realizes that not too long ago, you could buy guns through the mail and take them ON the airplane in your carry-on luggage.

This!  Every argument the libtards use to promote their agenda should be turned against them.  Can't require an ID to vote because it is too difficult for poor or disabled people to acquire.  Can't require an ID to exercise your constitutional right to own a firearm because it's too difficult for poor or disabled people to acquire.
