Welp, I just committed a career limiting move
Told the traders there's a problem they said "ok, let us know", I replied "you'll be the first, if you don't count the vendor, the developer, then me"...one replied "don't forget jesus" and I replied "meh, he's busy with his wine trick, I'll tell him later...and/or busy pruning the shrubs, depending on how you say his name" Right after I typed that and hit enter, I remembered one of the traders has a distinctly Spanish last name...I'm really hoping it's not Mexican/Latin American... |

My main concern is if he DOES get disproportionally butthurt, he can actually call someone who, after they stop laughing, will tell me to stop it

I've been scouting some of the WMA's over in VA for this season. Looks like there'll be some halfway decent spots for deer and black bear. The only iron I've got to use up here is a single shot 12 ga (kept with a buddy in VA, of course) but I guess it's better than nothing... View Quote I just drive through on the way to work, bunch of hunters up here. That buck won't last long I don't think |

Whatsupmotherfuckers? Might kick it late tonight. Gotta wait for some stuff to process on my computer, probably won't be done for another few hours.

Well, they could drag it out and fuck me on a technicality if they wanted.
I didn't have my dBA when i filed for it, so when the interview took place, he corrected and amended to add the dBA. that "technically" could restart the waiting process. I didn't look up the CFR law to see if that's actually allowed, even though that's the rules they choose to play by. If it wasn't considered a change significant enough to restart the waiting period, they by law, have 20 days to put it in my hand |

So, now that I have $9k in grant money, my current job is supplementary income... I'm thinking about getting a can sometime soon. What should I get? Need something that would work with my pin and welded A2 flashhider.

Have a professional gunsmith drill the pin and remove your flash hider, and install a proper QD mount for the can you like, and have him pin and weld it in place if necessary. EX being a 51 or 90 tooth AAC, SF QD, KAC QD. buy the best can that fits your budget- If you ever plan on using it with another gun, say a .308 - get a 762 rated can. If you know you're only going to ever use it with a 5.56 AR, the M4-2000 or SF 556 cans are pretty hard to beat. |

I'm wondering if someone makes a 7.62/.308 can that mounts on the standard A2 flash hider/could work with an A2 if I were to mill it. |

Wait, don't tell me - you have a 14.7" barrel...so you're going to get a can but didn't spring for a stamp for an SBR? There's far better flash hiders or comps than an A2... |

Something similar in shape, size, weight, and function of what I will be carrying. That and I was a super fucking poor college kid back then. I was doing research and told I was going to get grant money, but they always "ran out of funding". |

My primary (favorite) Frankenrifle AR has a 14.7 with a "permanent" flash hider. I planned ahead though, and used a DD A2-style flash hider that doubles as QD mount for a bunch of different cans- just in case I ever decide to get a can. I can't get a can right now, or possess my guns for that matter... But a can is still pretty high up on my want list. Oh, right.... You should consider having one of those installed if you want a can, but are attached for whatever reason to your A2 birdcage. |
