My google skills have failed me.  I have an old kitchen sink I want to use in my backyard for rinsing brass and I need an adapter to run my garden hose to the supply for the faucet.

Does such a beast exist?

Around here, to be code compliant, if you run hot water to your outdoor sink the drain must drain into the sanitary sewer.  Can't run out to the ground, I guess hot water will melt the ground.

Go to home depot or lowes and start looking in their plumbing department. You should be able to connect up a few adapters to do the job.

Cool, I think I have a name for what I'm looking for, I'll hit Ace for it.

No, but it could easily be made. Get a kitchen faucet supply line (screws onto the faucet at the top, has a braided SS tube, and a threaded fitting at the other). Get one where the lower end is 1/2" female pipe thread. Then find a brass fitting that's 3/4 hose thread on one side and 1/2" female pipe thread on the other. Connect with a 1/2" brass close nipple and Teflon tape. Then get a double female hose coupling to connect your adapter to your hose.

I know you can do it with fewer pieces, but without going to a well-stocked plumbing supply place, this stuff ought be a 1 or 2 stop shop.

MAKE SURE TO USE HOSE THREAD FITTINGS TO CONNECT TO YOUR HOSE!!!!!!!!

Pipe threads are pretty close to hose thread, but not close enough. Pipe thread + hose thread = drippy connection.
