Just heard this on the news.  Wonder why it will take 3 days to confirm?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —A patient at the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center is in the process of getting tested for Ebola, officials confirmed Tuesday evening.

As long as you don't break into the hospital, steal his bloody sheets and take them home while chanting "There is no Ebola", then you should be fine.

Can she have him transported to SF via the Capitol building?

Told ya it would get out.
Told you it would go wild in the USA.
Now, go buy enough bleach, paper towels, and rubber gloves to decontaminate
EVERYThing entering your household for the next 24 months.
Dont wait until everyone ELSE panics, by then it will be too  late.

article says yes, from sierra leone, or was that the patient in Albuquerque?

Face it, the odds of their being an outbreak here are high.

We have daily flights from the infected cities. It can have an incubation period of 2-21 days. It is a 16 hour flight.

Do the math.

Same here in Nebraska of all places

Went to Dr last week

He said they are getting a couple ICU suites prepared , and getting suits etc,

but realistically any  medical facility would be catastrophically stupid not to plan for the contingency

That was on August 5th.  Is this the same person that is currently under quarantine?  Would make sense, but no name is mentioned in today's case.
