Jay's Garage is more interesting (at least to me) than any talk show could be.

Yes, Americans CAN still build a quality car.

Some of the video controls are a bit high-tech for the average guy, I think, but this car wil perform great with ANY combination of control settings.

God, would I love to have one of these on the Italian autostradas I used to drive on when I was a NATO military officer.

The engineer guy is half right.

The way you overcome a fat 4400lb car is add more horsepower (he said).  That's great if you're driving from stop light to stop light really fast.

But if you're trying to go around turns, throwing that weight around is still a bit of a problem.

I still want that car though.  Bad.

I always thought the Challenger was the best looking of the new-retro muscle cars. I just never liked how heavy it was. And this is coming from a guy who likes big heavy cars.

This new interior looks so much better than the original Challengers too. When I got my '08 Bullitt a couple years ago I looked at the SRT-8 Challenger and the interior was so cheap it wasn't even funny.

Guy I know is driving one for work.  Looked nice.  The inner headlights are also air intakes.

So true, you know your collection is pretty awesome if you have tons of cars and a 700hp beast is one of the least interesting things in there.

Jay's garage does long form video on all sorts of cars ranging from brand new Lambos to a completely restored Datsun that's 40 years old. It's nothing unusual.

Just add more tire.  Traction is from normal force, discounting aerodynamics, mid rectory from weight.  The only issue being the height of the center of gravity causing roll in turns.

He definitely has it for all forms of motor vehicles. I don't know how he even keeps interested in some things based on what he has.

If I was in his place and someone bought a Hellcat to me I would turn around and look at what I had in my warehouse and wonder why someone is bringing me a "k" car.

Don't get me wrong the Hellcat is a nice piece; but I wouldn't give it a second glance in his shoes.

He should do an Auto show for the public once a year instead of for just the celebs; not sure if he doesn't already?

4160 pounds for the 2014s.

Unless the Hellcat added 240 pounds.

No kidding.

It's a bad ass car.   But Jay has stuff that make that thing look as commonplace as a mid nineties Ford Taurus with a missing hubcap.

It must have, or I heard the Dodge rep wrong.  I think he said 4400lbs in the vid.
