Woke up Wednesday morning and my left hand was numb. Mostly around the thumb and index finger. It goes up into my wrist and forearm. Never had this happen before.
It hasn't gotten any worse or any better. Tingling numb sensation, not severe but definitely noticeable and frankly quite annoying. I've tried stretching all sorts of ways, cracking my back and neck, etc. Other day I got up to use the bathroom at 3am in the dark and smacked my head pretty good on the corner of my towel rack. Pretty good sized bump on the forehead. I can't remember if that happened before the numbness started or on the morning of the second day, in which case it would then be unrelated. |

Next symptom is blindness and then hair growth on the palm of your hands.

Pinched ulnar nerve(funny bone).
Whiplash. You may need a chiropractor. Worst case scenario. Blood clot. Stroke. |

Golpher's elbow bro... Do this. Brah... Get an ice pack and place on your outer forearm and elbow area twice a day for 20 minutes a piece. Do that for like 14 days straight.
Don't fucking stretch at all! Only stretch after pain has gone away. |
|
[#20]
That happened to me a lot. I think it was compression on my arm because I was always sleeping on it. When I change my sleeping patterns to prevent that, it went away.

Though I suppose it could be a secondary effect of it, but I would still get it checked out. At this point the only thing ice would do is control pain. |

I would have been on a three day masturbation fest, just me and my stranger.

I would either get it checked out by a PT or a doctor, or at least get one of those padded mouse pads, or maybe move your keyboard farther from the edge of your desk. |

I've had the same symptoms OP. Lasted close to a month. I believe it was a slight tear/strain on my left bicep which was pushing up on the nerve and caused the upper portion of my forearm down to my thumb and index finger to be numb/tingly.

Do you do a lot of driving?
Rest your arm on the driver door window? Driver door armrest getting thin at the back where your elbow rests? Happens to me all the time. |

Come to think of it, may be your ulnar nerve if the numbness stops at your elbow.

Though it is very strange that the numbness goes all the way to his elbow. This is definitely a case of getting it checked out in person by a professional. Keep us updated too OP. |

Based on your screen name maybe you injured it rock climbing?
Nah, you whacked it too much. |

I would go see your PCP. You could have a bulging disk at the cervical level. This will cause the symptoms you describe. If it goes on too long, you will start losing muscle mass and function in that hand.

Quoted: But the ulnar nerve innervates the pinky and ring finger. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Pinched ulnar nerve(funny bone). Whiplash. You may need a chiropractor. Worst case scenario. Blood clot. Stroke. But the ulnar nerve innervates the pinky and ring finger. Do you know how painful it is when a chiropractor digs his thumb into your elbow to dislodge it ? First he has you put your other arm behind your back Then he has you lay down on that arm. Then he rolls you over onto the arm away from him. Then he presses his thumb into the elbow to pop it open to pop the nerve out. You want to talk about pain. The whole ideas behind the placing of your other arm behind you and rolling over on top of it is to prevent you from punching the doctor. |
