Offshoot of the How much do you feed your dog? thread, I notice most people here seem to have 2 or more dogs.
We have 4. Three are Shih-Tzu / Maltese mix, and one is a Shiba-Inu / Eskimo mix. We are the only family in the neighborhood that has more than one dog. Yet by arfcom standards, 3 or 4 is not at all uncommon. |

2.
Hound mix from the pound, Border Collie mix found starving on side of road. |
|
One, and it's a tiny little useless white floof dog.
I'm not a fan of dogs, I'll tolerate them, but I don't need them in my life. |
|
6. With 2 pits and 2 rotties. Our youngest of 5 kids is 2. Never had a dog even growl.
|
|
One, 6 month old mutt.
The lab rescue we got him from said he was an airedale/lab mix, and he looks like it. DNA says otherwise |
|
|
I have a Italian greyhound and a cat. I'd like to get a weimaraner or something larger but don't see how I'd have time with work.
|
|
13..........Wide assortment of breeds.........I go through about 150lbs of dog food a week Try as I might, I cant get them to take up grazing.

None. Every dog I ever owned I ended up giving away because they liked eating at homes that served them table scraps. I do have a granddog I have to take care of occasionally.

I have two. I had only one until about 4 weeks ago. They keep each other occupied. My GSD is just over a year and a half, the Lab is 10 weeks. The GSD started becoming a little destructive at the house when we were not there. She chewed up the edges of a cheap rug we have. We didn't want to crate her because she is good protection for the house when we are not there. So we got a second dog to keep her occupied. Now she doesn't destroy anything while we are gone since we got the second dog. The max you can own here(Clark County) is 3, unless you have a breeders license.

3. Technically 1 is mine. SO has 2. 2 Heelers, 1 Border Collie between us.

Kaylee is my lab/greyhound mix and is an ARFCOM rescue with a tip of the hat to the incomparable Fluffy The Cat. |

The kids always beg for them, and this past year at school they watched chicks be hatched. That was a battle that we barely won not ending up with one. Since my dogs didn't grow up with chickens I'm scared they will become a snack!!! |

Haven't seen them try to burrow anything. |

I keep a comforter on the couch for the dogs when I'm at work and she'll even get under that. |

Up until about 3 months ago it was 3. Over the course of 2 months we had to put 2 of them down. As of right now we have one rescue mutt. We also have a deposit on a GSD puppy, so in the middle of August we will be back up to 2.
