Check ebay and craigslist.

If it is from the 70s-80s, the demand seems to come and go.

I had a pretty good set up from the late 70s that was commanding a pretty good amount last I checked. I forget the dollar amount though.

IME, not much, unless it's some niche model and you happen upon a collector.
Frame life for a bike ridden hard is only like two years. Usually everything else is used up by then.
That said I know two idiots one that will pay more for an ancent heavy low tech road race bike that needs major surgery than he could get a much better entry level for, and the other collects Schwinn single speed cruisers, no way he can ride, and spends stupid money restoring them. So there may be a fool out there somewhere for you, but I wouldn't expect a fortune, maybe a couple hundred from the right person, probably not.

Check EBay for an idea of ballpark prices. A few years back I sold a JMC cruiser frameset for $2400. The economy(meaning the subsequent lack of extra spending money) has hurt prices over the last few years.

I recently sold a California Freestyle in purple. My dad originally bought it for about $500 and I sold it for $1200

Looks vaguely familiar, what is it?

I have same bike as OP, only in blue and in better shape..
Was offered $800 for it, turned it down.
Memories of my childhood are worth keeping it around.
Also have an 85 Mongoose that I bought new that I still ride on occasion.

That is an original RRS with the rare-as-hen's-teeth forks.

First frame with cantilever brake mounts and adjustable bottom bracket for crank length.

Yours must be brand new never ridden. I bought this bike for 5$ about 15 yrs ago. It's been hanging in the shed ever since. The pics don't do it justice. Other then dirt the only damage is the scratched up pedals and the tires are a little dry.

"Restored" will likely bring less than a nice  "survivor" condition example.
While there still is a following for "perfect" restored examples, there has been a paradigm shift toward survivor bikes being the more desired.

My Hutch Trickstar cost $600.00 in 84, now they are going for $2,000+.  I wonder if the FBO that stole it kept it long enough to get his 2nd free investment from it. :(

Looks like an 86 model. I have had many old GT's. Love em.

Some of the old stuff brings killer money. I still have my old Webco Ultimate with magnesium mag wheels, a Yamaha Moto Bike and my 1980/81 Robinson Bobby Woods Replica. I saw a set of Webco Mags go for over a grand a few years back.

Remember the Honda Kick N Go's? I see a new one asking $999.00 on eBay. Have two of them still in the box in the attic that I paid $34.50 each for and a couple other used ones the kids used to ride.

Traded a vintage Honda dirt bike engine recently for a trick new billet AR15, a very nice 1943 Remington Rand 1911A1, a very nice 1917 Colt 1911 and a new Colt CQBP (yet to arrive). Buying up a lot of that stuff in the early 90's paid off.
