If any of you ARFcommers are in the area and want to pay your respects here is the information.

From his father:
It is with great sadness that I need to tell you that my son PVT Keith Michael Williams was killed today in Afghanistan.
His vehicle hit an IED and he was airlifted to Kandahar AFB where he did not survive.....Be with God my boy.....

Update from his father:

My son Keith landed on American soil at today 8:55 EST.
We are now preparing for the transference ceremony.

Well we finally got Keith transferred to the mortuary...it is becoming real, my boy is really gone....sad!

DoD Identifies Army Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

They died July 24, in Mirugol Kalay, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the enemy attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device.
These soldiers were assigned 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.

Killed were:

Staff Sgt. Benjamin G. Prange, 30, of Hickman, Neb.; and

Pfc. Keith M. Williams, 19, of Visalia, Calif.

Rest assured, he died a hero. It is time to bring all our people back home. Those countries overseas have been fighting for thousands of years, and will be fighting well after we are gone. Either go in and blow those places into little pieces and finish them off, or get out. Prayers to the family and friends.
