The guy was shitting his pants because he saw someone with what he thought was a rifle and it turned out to be a camera tripod. How in the hell can you get through life being that paranoid and scared of other people?

"I've been saying this for a while now. ... The best thing control control advocates can do is get a gun, and flaunt it as flagrantly as possible as often as possible anywhere and everywhere it will freak people out. This is the only way rightwingers respond to anything anymore. You have to aggressively and persistently rub the problem right in their faces, until the shit is stuck on their noses and they can't get rid of the stench without taking action. They no longer do anything 'for the greater good' willingly. They have to be compelled to do it. Jasonhouse Jul 21, 3:46p" |

The guy was shitting his pants because he saw someone with what he thought was a rifle and it turned out to be a camera tripod. How in the hell can you get through life being that paranoid and scared of other people? Easy, he doesn't carry a gun. DuH. Notably it was already one of the most dangerous states in the nation even before Guns Everywhere was passed – 9th highest in firearm homicide deaths in the nation (Louisiana gets the top award for most dangerous state, an honor they do not plan to give up. Goons there, envious of Georgia’s new law, recently approved their own version of Guns Everywhere, but it is not yet law). I feel pretty certain that NYC or Chicago have more murders that New Orleans. Now how the rest of the state balances out against that I"m not sure and too lazy to look on the 'Net for statistics and sort fact from fiction right now. |

....and yet nothing no ill come from it millions of times a year. That guy is also afraid of being beaten to death by those he would rather see dead than taking responsiblity for their own well being. I hope that particular fear becomes a reality for him and soon. |

If someone carrried that "50cal sniper rifle" into a bar around here, people would probably assume the person was selling it or trying to stash it behind the bar for a couple of hours to hide it from his wife.
