I wouldn't expect you non-border staters to get it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes I don't understand why any true American would have a problem with this. Hopefully they are actually enforcing the borders though and not just helping to cart the illegals off to camp...which is most likely what they will do. |

I hope he tells O to go fuck himself and does what needs to be done.

He'll still have to abide by federal immigration policy, so basically this just means TX NG will be escorting the illegals to their new quarters on military bases or in luxury resorts. |
|
Serious question. Are they allowed to prevent the people from getting here? Or are they additional transportation for BP to use to get people to camps ?

All this will be is more people to help process in the filthy masses. |

I guess it's a worthwhile symbolic step, but as above, anything short of "shoot the invaders" will have no effect on this.

Last time I checked, the federal immigration policy did not give illegals free room & board in our country. The "Obama immigration policy" is a different kind of animal altogether. |

Congress won't stop Obama, so Obama's policies carry more force of law than the law (or previously state policies). SCOTUS won't smack him down either. |

The bad thing is if Perry activates them... the state of Texas pays for them. So you Texans may have to pay for each illegal to have his own butler while he makes his way across the fence.

At least he is trying to get something done. I don't get the Perry hate.

waste of time and $$$$
unless they set up a no man's land & start popping once they enter into the zone |

My thought is they will help cart these illegals. But the news blurb sounds tough |

After Louie Gomert and the Border Patrol were fired on Saturday from Mexico - with no acknowledgement/comment from Washington/Obummer...I can only imagine the NG will be available to answer the next time it happens. If not Texans...who? |

Great step in the right direction but will anything actually come of it? Will they actually enforce the boarder or will they just help move them along to the camps?

We welcome all refugees to our country. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religion, political creed, age, or sexual preference. We therefore call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally. I would be more inclined to think this was a good thing if it were more than 1000 NG troops going. Still, better than sending none.

Great first step, but unless the rest of the border states do the same thing the Dem induced child human wave attack will simply change route. California here we come....
But good for Texas none the less. |

Damn this sucks it is not on TV. I'm glad the radio is covering it.

Perry lost my confidence when he went on about how "heartless" it was to not provide tuition breaks for children of illegals but I'll watch for now. Much like I'm watching the thread about arrest proceedings against Lerner and fallout from Holder's contempt and....

They are not fucking children. |
