That picture brought back memories so i dug out my old Infantry School yearbook and scanned a few pages. I remember Reception Battalion being a piece of cake and the food was great. This is hardly the disruptive environment a normal person would run away from. It was easy.     |

I don't remember nearly so many smiles and relaxed welcomes when I arrived at reception. We were getting bitched at right from the start. I remember a PFC trying to act tough with us the first night there.
