So those 10.9 1/4 times everyone doubted might be true. The SRT Hellcat is the most powerful US production car ever produced. It's in the video.
707hp 650tq SRT 707 Update: pricing has been leaked at $59,990 by a well known and respected Chrysler employee. He has a 700+ page thread on a popular challenger forum and has never been wrong in regard to pricing, releases, options, etc. Comes fully loaded. Options are the 8 speed, wheel color, 3 season tires, paint, stereo upgrade and moonroof. Maybe a few other little things. I'll still wait for the official release but this number is as good as gold. Update 7-11 Straight from Chrysler Runs 10.85@126 I'll fix the video when I get on a puter |

It might even be fast if making cars 4200lbs these days wasn't the new trend. It takes 707hp to get that boat up to highway speeds.

Rather have the new Z06 lighter, more aero dynamic, looks better, and more refined machine over all. Not to mention it will handle 10x better with magnetic ride which my Caddy already does!

dodge
it will be real good for doing burnouts and crashing when you try to go around a corner |

Here is the press release
press release from Chrysler: AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 1, 2014 AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The all-new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT, with its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat engine, produces an unprecedented 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful Challenger ever, Dodge's most powerful V-8 ever and the most powerful muscle car ever. The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with Hellcat HEMI V-8 engine is rated at 707 hp. The Challenger's new 6.2-liter Supercharged Hellcat engine is also the first factory supercharged HEMI, as well as Dodge and SRT's first application of V-8 supercharger technology. For the first time in Chrysler Group history, the all-new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with a Hellcat engine comes standard with two key fobs -- red and black. The red key fob is the only key that can unlock the full 707 horsepower and torque potential of the Challenger SRT Hellcat engine; while the black key fob limits the driver to a reduced engine output of 500 horsepower. |

Probably a ridiculous Price Tag in which a new Z06 would make more sense. |

I'd rather have a modded Gt500. I imagine it will be cheaper.
And when the IFS version comes out, it will rape this even more. rape town rape |

No-one needs that many HP and too many children are killed in car accidents, we need to restrict magazine engine capacity to 10 HP!

Us Mopar guys have been suffering an underpowered car for long enough. This just made my day. "Automotive News" is reporting 650ft/lb |

It's been done heaps. There are two at our local races who are in the 8.90's and 9.30's with less than $5k invested in car and mods. The stock block 5.3's will hold a heap of power. |

Hell, my factory production vehicle can run 8.96's and commonly goes 9.50's with traps of over 150.. and it ain't much to write home about either. |
