I was considering .300blk for a while, especially in a 7.5" tiny AR/pistol format...however, honestly, a Yugo PAP in 7.62x39 is just as big (and can still be SBRed), it launches roughly the same size rounds, and I can't own a can in this state...so it's a wash. Other than having to stock a new caliber, buy reloading gear, and then specifically mark the .300 AR/upper (because it'll be the same size as a .223 upper, and mixing ammo would be bad)...I could just go with another medium range .30 cal that is already out there and established with established platforms, and call it a day. So, that's what I did...
I still need to get off my butt and send in a form 1 to SBR my PAP pistol, sigh... |

Meh I like working nights. Less bullshit (usually), no people around to fuck shit up, etc. Shopping is a fuckin' breeze at 3am; there's at least 3 grocery stores within ~15-20 miles that are all open 24/7, including a Wal-Mart...and while there is some weird shit there at night (I saw a whole goddamn family, teenage kids and all, back-to-school shopping at 3 am the other week...wtf?), most of the weirdness is one-off and contained, so it's not bad at all.
I just wish there was a 24/7 range around... |

I have a friend that's a rigger in the NG. He told me today that they are go do be doing a water jump into Corpus Christi bay. He mentioned their were sharks and seemed a little worried.
I told him I wouldn' worry to much about the sharks but I hate that bay because every time I have gotten in the water I was stung multiple times by jelly fish. He seemed a little on edge as we were getting off the phone. I guess he likes jellies even less then sharks. I told him not to pet the purple floaty ones.
