Well it happened again my underground base has been filled in with world edit. That same thing happened on my last build on the last map. I don't think I have the patience to dig it back out.
Whoever is messing around with world edit please stop. |

I don't think I built close to anyone. I'm out in BFE and started my build as soon as the new map came out.
Even then I don't think it's justified to fill my base in with out even asking me or telling me I'm buliding too close to others. |

Ok, I guess I've officially become an old out of touch parent. My son who just turned 9 has been begging me to get him minecraft for the PC for awhile now. I really know nothing of this game, what it's about, your mission or it's goals. I know there are a lot of young kids who play and it seems appropriate from what I can tell. Can anyone give me a brief run down and help convince me I should let him play it?

There is absolutely nothing "bad" in minecraft for any age player. Basically you build stuff.
The only potential for bad influence would be if he played online, and communicated with other players via in game chat. |

Yeah minecraft is pretty cool for any age really. Single player is great to do whatever you want on. Playing online can get a bit sketchy sometimes if the player base is a big older in ages. But other than that, a great game.
