Holy shit!
Good shoot officer and I am glad the good guys won on this one. |

[#10]
I saw the rounds to the badge and vest, any other injuries to the officers?

Did I hear the perp's head slam on the hood of the cruiser?, or did it coincide with the shot after his sudden demise.

Even if first shot DRT, he's still gonna get a couple more. Yeah, due to adrenaline rush, I'm sure he would get at least 2 or 3 more shots----just to be sure he was down for the count. It would depend on how many were left in my mag. Re-evaluate the threat while reloading. |

who fired the shot that killed him, the officer behind the wheel ?

Good shoot! Too bad the cop didn't just stomp on the gas when he saw the gun.

Some JBTs are damn good marksmen. He found one. Head shot, DRT.

Dented the hood of that cruiser with his face.
They have had a year to fix it though, probably buffed out by now. |

I always wonder what idiots like this are thinking. At least 2 cruisers were on him. 2 cops per? What is he going to do. kill 4 cops, drive away. Then what? You know there are dash cams. You know they ran your license and plates. What are you going to do. Really?

Kinda curious why the cop didnt t-bone him at 3:30.
Good shoot. Wish it had been faster. |

He put his head down fast like my little nephew does when he is having a pouty moment ... however my nephew always gets back up all happy.

Nice shot to put him down. Anyone ever test how much velocity a standard windshield absorbs from a bullet?

View Quote I seem to recall John_Wayne777 did a windshield test shoot several years ago and the results of that test can be found on Old_Painless's box o truth website. IIRC, he was testing how much deflection and penetration could be obtained by common pistol rounds after going through a windshield. However, this test occurred several years ago and my recollection of all the data that was obtained might be a little hazy by now. |

View Quote This also occurred to me but I am guessing the cruiser was being slammed into park and the cops right hand was going for his gun. Can't really argue with the results the way it went down but slamming him with the push bar would have ruined his day pretty well also. |

Seems like the police missed several opportunities (3:25 - 3:35) to end that early with their car.

Many agencies do not allow officers to use their vehicles to end pursuits unless lethal force is appropriate for the situation. Many agencies even [foolishly, in my opinion] consider the PIT to be lethal force. |
