Well at least the officer got to be put on paid suspension pending the outcome of the investigation safely.
This happened two towns up I35 from here and has been the talk of the town. 20 x 87lb 14 year olds rushed the field after the schools first ever soccer championship win and this guy feels the need to take them down. |

No one was more surprised than I, when I accidently ran into a fan at the big game. I had been running at full speed toward the disturbance on the field. At that very moment, a highly intoxicated, female ran directly in front of my path. I tried to abruptly stop running but my front foot slipped on the grass. What was he trying to do stop the kids from rushing the field by himself? There is a certain point where you go "well damn I can't stop these kids better get some back up." I don't see how any sensible person would think tripping one or two is going to help the situation at all.
