Can a strong jawed dag have a ham bone as a treat?
It is honey glazed and I don't want him crushing it and choking on splinters.

Generally speaking, raw bones yes, cooked bones no. YMMV.

Cooked will definitely splinter. Not cooked still has a good chance depending on the dog.

we don't give pork bones to the dog.
not because of any safety factor... it's just that her breath REEKS when she eats those. So instead of pork/ham bones she gets beef joints and knuckles. |
