They're not nearly as cute as cartoons would lead you to believe.

The only one that I have killed was about 75 yards away with an AR. Worked great.

I've never even heard of anyone seeing one around here. I would like to eat it if I got the chance.

.357 Mag is a good round and leave them where they fall for a message to the others...

Where ya at in TX? I saw a dead one at Garner State park, a dead on on the side of HWY79 between Hutto and Taylor, and killed one south of Brady. I think they are pretty much everywhere.

I'm near Bryan, but I've been up and down that section of 79 all my life, my mom is from Taylor. Only been to garner twice though.

My buddies use .22s and .17s. I find a .38spl 158 SWC out of a 6" model 14 works very well. As does .45, 10mm and 9mm. I don't like carrying long guns around the woods.

Last one I had to kill died to a Sand Wedge that I don't like or use very much.
THATS RIGHT! FORE MOTHERFUCKER!
Yes, I felt slightly bad, but that thing was far more aggressive than I remember the little bastards ever being before.
