Interestingly, i saw an old AMT .25acp in the used case at the LGS a few weeks ago and it was cheap...I'm actually thinking of getting something like that so I can wear in short pockets in the summer even if I am outside with no shirt on it's still concealed. View Quote Don't buy that. .25 sucks and that gun may well not run very well Especially when you can get a modern 380 that's lighter and the same size. I've got an LCP. It works. And fits the bill for when I can't carry at least a sub compact. No bias towards it, I'd consider the Kahr or S&W was well. |

Keltec P3AT for when I can't carry anything else. So long as I keep it lubed, it'll run 100% with my carry ammo, Winchester FMJ flat-nose.

Carry a sig 1911 nitemare in a supertuck and my bug is a seecamp 32, very nice to pocket carry in anything ...

I've been carrying full size framed pistols for as long as I've been carrying anything (about 15 years) My father in law picked up a Kahr 380 about a month ago for carrying and at first I hated it....thought it was too small, a crappy caliber, and more of a toy than a weapon. The more I play with it the more I find myself wanting something tiny, that can fit in a pocket. Anyone have one of these teeny weeny pistols for EDC? Any feelings of inadequacy? I carry an LCR .38 spl as party of my ccw package, but it is a backup to my full sized XD.45 Why not the subcompact xd45 instead? That way, you can share mags. |
|
Right now, if I can't rock my BHP or 1911, I'm usually carrying a Makarov. I'm waiting till I can get my hands on a R51 before I go out an buy one right out.

|
I don't own one yet but a sig p938 is probably ny next gun purchase
|
|
I got a CW45 for under $300 that I use.
The next time there is a consignment Beretta Nano at the LGS, I'm going to try one. |
|
I currently carry a S&W M&P9c. Big enough to fight with, small enough to easily conceal.
I have thought about a S&W BG380 for occasions where the M&P doesn't cut it, such as needing to wear a suit or tux. |
|
Beretta Nano. The Shield has parts that are die cast like a jennings.
|
|
Shield and P938 here. More I use the P938 the more I want to sell the Shield for a G17.
Edit I voted for P938 |
|
I'll go as low as a Kel-tec P 32 if I need something to stick under somebody's jaw and explode.

My everyday carry gun is a Diamondback DB9. I got it and 4 mags, used, for less than what new ones usually cost at a gun show several months ago. Once I'd had the chance to put a couple hundred rounds of FMJ and JHP through it, it replaced the P32 I was carrying. I'd been looking to replace the P32 for awhile, as I don't really care to carry anything smaller than 9mm. The P32 was eventually traded for a couple hundred rounds of 300 BLK. Since the initial break-in period, the only times I've had issues with the DB9 was when I was shooting some TulAmmo 115gr I'd picked up post-Newtown, when ammo was scarce and I bought what I could find.

Pocket carry a Bodyguard .380 for when I'm not carrying a gun.
My standard is a Shield 9mm with one extra mag, if the situation warrants I move up to a G19 with extra mag. |

I owned and carried the LCP; I liked it. I upgraded to the Kahr P380, which seems to me a higher quality firearm. I only carry it, however, when my concealment options limit me to "micro" sized pistols. I've owned several kel-tecs and even carried them, but quality wise they do not seem to compare to Kahrs or even the Rugers

I think the Kahrs got the single action trigger right. It 's smooth as a nun's ass.

I'm seriously considering getting a Kahr CW380 and putting a clipdraw on it. Already have a Shield 9mm and P3AT. Sometimes I want something a little smaller than the Shield in a Mtac holster, and while my P3AT has been reliable thus far, I've had 3 other Kel-Tecs break so I don't entirely trust it.

|
My P3AT has been 100% reliable. I carry it when I can't carry my G26.

Even though I can't CCW in MD , I always thought that MSAR should have produced the Archangel. Cool little pistol.

Carried a lcp for a year then I saw the light. Now I carry a g19 or 30.

I carry a Kahr cw380. I like it.. Also looked into the new lcp, cm9 and beretta nano.

Been considering a XDs when not wanting to carry my full size, but am hesitant given the seemingly amount of negative experiences here.

Quoted: Kimber Ultra Carry II View Quote Have it, love it, still large. For FT, EDC, I love NAA & their indestructible awesome warranty lineup. You are undergunned if you are unarmed. If you are always armed, have situational awareness and are prepared to make war if cornered, a 5 shot 22 is a great asset. |

I tried carrying a Makarov. To heavy. The Mak with 8rnds is 1lb12oz where a P30 w/15rnds is exactly 2lbs.
G19 or P30 is as small a gun as I'll carry. |
|
Why no love for G42 I love mine. Its in my pocket everyday, all the time.
Of the options you posted, Id say Sig 938, or its baby brother the 238.

I like my PM9. Way better than the POS Kahr K9 I owned in the past. The fact that I got it for free makes me like it even more.

|
Was looking at a Springfield XD-S... anyone have one?
Edit: Also the Sig P250 subcompact |
