Golfing today and as I was laying a flag down my fingers realized the flag stick is cracked. I was left with a half inch spear half way into my finger and dozens of invisible hair like splinters In all 4 fingers especially around the big wound. I pulled the big one right away but I can't seem to get any of the little ones and they are annoying the shit out of me. Tips?

Tried duct tape and after that didn't work sandpaper. That also didn't work.

ETA: I really tried these on my dad's advice.

I just saw this and have never  tried it.  Put elmers glue over the area and let it dry.  Once dry peel it off.  The splinter should come out with the glue.

I was going to say duct tape, ive used it for fiberglass splinters and it worked for me.

Duct tape is the best answer.
The Waterproof wrap tape works OK as well.

I've had good luck scraping the area with a razorblade held perpendicular.  The edge will catch the fiber and pull it out.

Splinter out if you haven't broken them off below the skin already.

Grab some of the old lady's not so nice pantyhose.  The weave of the fiber is very small.  If you go against the grain the glass will get pulled out.
This came from an old time fiberglass worker friend of mine.

Insulate much?

Lol, if they are tiny you are fucked, you will have to wait until they are rejected by your body and forced out. Jewelers loupe and a sharp Exacto knife and surgically cut each one out as you find it is about the only way. Resist the temptation to jack off with that hand for a while, ok.

When I was a kid I was visiting my granny in Salem OR and there was an old golf flag pole that I was using as a javelin. Well I went to throw that fucker and a huge 3 inch splinter bigger than a skewer came off of it and went thru the tendon between my thumb and palm. Holy Fuck that was bad, had to yank it out with vice grips.

Rough sandpaper , like 40-80 grit , also works pretty good .

^ This was my suggestion, after the duct tape.  It works,  Try getting your arm wet with cold water, and using the nylon like a scrubby, too.  Hot shower?  Might open up your pores so the fibers can work out easier, but they might also migrate in deeper.

The duct tape trick works, but you need to find that old roll, that's been left out in the sun too many times.  Peel it off enough to fold it back on itself with the sticky side exposed, and use it like a lint roller.  I've done this many times.  Take a hot shower to open the pores on your skin and make a second pass if needed.
