Rumors around that ESPN will not run their league this year.
Anyone else have any experience with any of the other leagues? The ESPN game was simple and good for the first timers. Some of the other leagues are quite complicated and not so user friendly. We will see if ESPN does open it up in a week or two, if not, any suggestions on where to go this year? |

Anything works for me. Nothing looks as simple as the ESPN one we were playing. I know that a couple people were on a yahoo league last year. MrHold and I checked out the Foxsports one and it seemed interesting. there is also the NASCAR live one but it seams a little complicated from what I have heard and has a complex scoring system. I'm sure there are a few more.
Does anybody have experience with any of these? |

just doing some research does any body remember how many league members we had last year? nascar fantasy league limit is 25 I wouldn't want leave anybody out I would feel bad 
so far I've gone to fox, yahoo and nasar fantasy league web sites. Take a look or post one I don't know about so we all can check out If this becomes a cluster fuck let a pole decide or we go with someone who pulls us by our balls and sets one up |

We had 36 start and ended with 18 active players last year. I think the thing to do would be to guarantee a spot for all the players that participated throughout the season. The difference in the number of slots would be filled by first come first serve basis. With two weeks or so left before it starts, any of the reserved slots not filled by last year's players would be opened up to new players as well. |

We can't access last year's roster so there is no way to verify who was active.
I feel that if the league can't handle all the people that may start that it should be ruled out. |

I found this out of the way FREE fantasy league, very basic iowanascar.com private league name is - arfcom15 passcode- H001hK points system is a little wacky If it doesn't work out than it doesn't just checking what's out their no one said we can't have more than one league |

In the Iowa league I have a decision to make on point system, seeing how I'm a nice guy help me decide
Choose Your Chase Format! Chase Format Descriptions Name Description 1-Sprint Cup Wildcard (2011+) Points reset to 2000 pts + 3 pts for each win for the non wildcard teams. League settings determine the number of teams that make the chase and how many wildcards there are. 2-Sprint Cup (2007-2010) Points reset to 5000 pts + 10 pts for each win for the teams in the chase. League settings determine the number of teams that make the chase. 3-Nextel Cup (2004-2006) Points reset to 5000 pts + 5 pts for each position in the standings above the lowest team in the chase. League settings determine the number of teams that make the chase. 4-Winston Cup Style (pre-chase) The points do not reset, the most consistent scoring team wins. Choose Chase Format |

I've been playing the ESPN game for six seasons and am disappointed about them dropping it. NASCAR.com has a game called NASCAR Fantasy Live. It is very similar to the ESPN game. I'm going with that one for this season. |

You can change team each week, if desired. In addition to your cars, you can pick a pit crew and/or a manufacturer choice for bonus points. You create a 'League', which is the same as a 'Group' on the ESPN game. There is a 25 player limit in any given League. It appears that there are no 'segments' like the ESPN game had, and I like that. Really, it is alot more like the ESPN game than it is different. Graphics are better. Will just take a little getting used to in regard to navigating around in the game. League and Team setup appears very simple. Also, any League with 25 members is eligible for prizes from NASCAR.com. If you liked the ESPN game, this is probably as close to that format as we're gonna get. I have not determined whether this game will allow you to belong to more than one League at a time. |

Ran one for about 10 years with a 100% payout. Since NASCAR went IROC, it all fell apart. Few even watch it anymore around here. Indycar and NHRA has a lot more interest. NASCAR was much more enjoyable before Brian France got involved.
