Probably not.
I always try to make gun purchases laterally or up. So if I sell one gun I get another that will fill more roles or is of better quality. Some SHTF'ers will tell you to keep one a bolt gun because they are pretty tough to break. Mine is a .22 |

If you don't hunt with it, sell it and get an AR-10.

I have a couple hundred rounds of 7MM but it just seems pointless to buy more when no one else around has a gun that will use it. And a couple hundred rounds for a bolt gun is probably way over my life expectancy if SHTF.

When I sold my last 7mm I regreted it but Im a hunter so that would make a hugh difference I guess. If your not into the gun and you can finance one you will shoot more often and be happy with I say go for it.
