It seems to me that the guy in the video might be blind. He has a lot of mannerisms that would indicate he is blind.

They have to be that tall sInce the barrel is in-line with the stock. Otherwise you couldn't get a sight picture. The height looks exaggerated since there's no carrying handle integrated into the rear sight and no tower with the front sight.
