What sayeth the hive?

I think it's atheists. They are forced to see religion every day. Poor precious little snow flakes.
Some Christians, particularly Evangelist Christians, like to think they are. It's part of their narrative.
And it's a fucking joke. |
Persecuted? Not so much. At least not in most places.
Hated? Oh yeah. The World hates us. Go figure. |
No, they aren't.
Everyone loves to hop on board the "victimhood" wagon these days, Christians included. |
Yep, you can't even get elected to office if you admit you're a Christian these days.

USA:
If by Christian you mean a person who believes in the Trinity, that Jesus die for our sins and was risen from the dead, and that salvation is free for the asking by turning your heart to Jesus, then no. If by Christian you mean a person who thinks God is whatever they want him to be, that every nice person goes to heaven, and that there really isn't a hell, then definitely no. In some countries, Christians are killed for their beliefs. That qualifies as the most extreme form of persecution. Christians in this country tend to be whiney complainers who never carry their beliefs outside the church building's door. And if they do and are persecuted, they need to feel blessed and not put upon. This is coming from a born-again Christian in the Bible Belt who teaches ESL classes to immigrants from Asia and the Middle East who had to flee or die. |

I want to grab the world by its collective throat and scream "Stop fucking whining about every damned thing" in it's face. |

I think persecution per capita would have Buddhists towards the top of the list. It's all location dependent. Are Christians in Kansas as persecuted as Christians in Iraq? Probably not... |
Not in America yet, the same government that plays games with the antis' recreational drugs is working up to it though- divide and conquer. Although I would argue the antis are fit to be tied so, as are many of the Christians.

Were you listening to Bill Cunningham's show Sunday night?
He had a interesting author/political commentator on who is Iraki and he was mentioning that exact same thing. He stated that in 2003 under S.H., there were 2-3M (or 3-4M) Christians in Irak and now there are roughly 200K. Same with Egypt. Anyhow, he's a proponent of the view that 'Islam/Koran' is a 'winner-take-all' religion and that nowhere in the Koran, does 'jihad' appear in a 'spiritual struggle' context, as many believers like to point out to pacify the infidels, it's purely a physical and often times, violent struggle.' Here in the US of A? No group is "persecuted"
However, there are certainly elements of the left that enjoy annoying Christians for their own amusement. |

No. They were from the death of Christ to the adoption of Christianity by the Roman Empire. To say Christians in the US are being repressed is comical at best. They are certainly heavily oppressed in Muslim countries. To make a claim that Christians are being repressed in the US is, in my opinion, a huge disservice and insult to those who continue to keep and spread the good word in violent parts of the world.

Jews. Hands down STILL the most persecuted group in the world, by FAR.
In this country? No. Not hardly.
On ARFCOM? Sometimes if feels like it, but probably not. In some parts of the world? Sure. |
Persecuted? Tough to define.
Hated, ridiculed, criticized, and treated differently than ANY other religious group? You bet. |

Only the nutty ones, who can't understand how anyone could possibly not believe as they do.

In some parts of the World, Christians are persecuted, usually along with every non-state religion. In some countries it's the Christians doing to persecuting.. But not in the US. Having to share the courthouse lawn with the Hindu's isn't persecution.
