I'm torn between a Samsung and iPad, will either of those support Flash or Java?

Porn sites have come a long way nowadays. Don't matter if you have them or not.

Very valid point.  I was planning on using this for school but there are many lonely nights when my A&P books just don't cut it

Android tablets can support Flash.  I have it on my Google Nexus 10.

Zero Pro 7 for $129 is a deal. 8GB and will take 32GB card.

Some Android will support Flash, but if you need Java, you may be farther ahead to look at a Windows based tablet or convertable laptop.  At the office Java run-time is the biggest reason we won't adopt Android or iOS as full replacements for our field staff.  Then again the newer Intel based tablets have gotten much lighter and better battery life along with decent processing power.

Flash runs on my Gen1 Nexus7.

get the android.  Way more options than the ipad (expandable memory, etc.) and yes, it will support flash.  I have a Samsung galaxy tab 2.0 that works just fine for 1/2 the cost.

I paid north of $500 for mine. A $5 app doesn't really phase me, at this point.

Yeah, but then you're stuck with a shitty Android tablet.

Easier said than done, depending on exactly what you're using it for. HTML5 video doesn't have feature parity.

But yeah, it'll be gone eventually.
