Have you ever bought two of the exact same rifle/pistol? Thinking about picking up another 6920 but I already got one..
** Should ad I am just trying to justify it somehow. |

I currently have two M&P full size pistols in 9mm. It is my only redundancy.
Yes, by all means. My wifey even said, "shouldn't we have the same guns that take the mags and ammo?"
Hmmmm. A simple, light, reliable rifle with iron sights? I should pick up another Model 94.

Many years ago I bought four consecutively numbered Powder Springs MAC-10's.
At the same time - no.
I do have 4 10/22's though. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Several years ago I was offered a Winchester 52D with original sights and all. They wanted $50 for it. I said I'll take it and they had a second one for the same price. I got them both
And both were CMP rifles as well. |

Two Stoeger shotguns. Identical except for the camo patterns.

Three AR's, two MN 91-30's, five MN M-44's. C&R license easy and fairly cheap to do so.

One is none and two is one. Three or more...AWESOME! FPNI. Two of everything, as a minimum. Yep. I have at least pairs of almost all the guns I own. If not pairs,at least two of every caliber. |

Yes. Two each, Glock 22, Remington 870 and Stag Model 2.
Spare parts are nice, a spare piece is better. |

I have
4 AK's 3 AR's 3 M1 carbines 3 Glocks 2 M1 Garands 2 1911's 2 Walther P-22 (wife & mine) I subscribe to the "one is none, two is one" methodology. And the more, the merrier |
Absolutely.
I have multiples of every primary and secondary weapon I own. Identical down to the sights, triggers, stocks, lights, etc. In case I end up using one of them (and subsequently losing it to the police property room for the duration of the legal wrangling), I have identical versions of everything, that I can immediately pull out of the safe and carry. So when some thug's criminal buddies come looking to get one back for their friend, I have the exact weapons I've consistently trained on... all function-tested and ready to go. |

Do yourself a favor and do not get into pre 64 Winchester model 70s. You put two in a safe together I swear to god they bang out babies.
Yep. Glocks, ARs, Sigs, whatever else I feel like have multiples of.
We call it dual-wielding in my house. ARs & M&Ps.
Your Colt's can have interchanging jewelry & accessories — they can go on play dates and sleepovers. |

Part of me is telling myself to get something new and different the other is like "That's a good damn rifle and would make since to get it again for many reasons everyone here has listed".
I got 2 Springfield XD 40's didn't plan it, I traded Toby Keith tickets for one
The only ones that are exactly the same are: two Colt 1911s, two Beretta 92FSs and two Glock 23s.
I have two AR carbines and two 870 shotguns set up similarly, but they are not exactly the same. |
