Cans will be kicked down the road until the midterms- then it will be voter fraud apocalypse.
The only thing that will derail that is China calling bullshit on our currency. |

Looking into it, services that continue despite a shutdown include police, fire fighting, the National Weather Service and its parent agencies, the postal service, armed forces, utilities, air traffic management, and corrections.
ETA To me, that's perfect, isn't that where we actually want our levels of spending and outreach? |

Well, I do kinda like the 4 day work week, and if and when we ever get back to actually working 5 days a week, the return to full pay will be like a huge raise, without our overlords actually have to pay us more..... Now never mind that guys in theater are fighting 7 days a week, we can still hold our head up high that we are doing our very best to support the warfighter
