Good deal mauser,  i really happy to hear this this morning.  After waking up early seeing the wife off I went back to bed and slept in. Both my daughter and I just woke up.  Sleeping in is a good thing sometimes.

Yea I got my girl back, 2 out of 3 are home again.  I cant wait to get out this weekend and run some lead through it.  I worked up a bunch of loads a couple of weeks ago with TAC and VV n133 to test.  I will be testing tomorrow nice and early.  Then I can crank out another 500 or so round to play with.

Thanks again everyone for the support you all have given over the last few months,  getting my girls back is a sign of getting back to normal.

Anyone else planing of doing some veterans cemetary clean ups for monday?  Its a family tradition for us,  we used to do it more often back east where most of our ancestors are reasting.  We will be paying respeccts to some here in arizona this memorial day, they are not our family but they will get our respect and thanks anyway.  I need to go get some flags, usually I have them ordered on line over a month ago but things were tight, so I will have to find some at a brick and morter store and pay premium.  Eh its worth it.  Besides placing the flags is my daughters favorite part, she makes me proud.

What are your family traditions for memorial day?

As far as "picking up the slack", this is the worst pain day for me since leaving work.  My leg is killing me. (It's due to the L4/L5 disc damage)

Spent the day with good friend. (Had b-fast with him and a mutual friend to start the day)  So even hobbled, it was a mighty fine day.

My worked up rounds,  I dug this out and it slipped and fell about 2 feet onto my bench but did not open and thank goodness they didnt fall out.  I was thinking it was a good plan but now thinking it would have been disaster to get them mixed up.  Lol yea that would have sucked.  Good thing berrys plastic boxes are nice and tight.

Ramshot TAC and VV n133. 5 rounds each 23.5 up to 25.5

I know  I would probobly get ripped in the realoading section.

Iron sights fall short in that category, I do shoot from a bench with a good rest when doing my test but still, you are deffinatly right.

I dont have a chrony either.  At least I can still test for cycling issues and look for pressure signs.

Good optics are spendy.

I love testing handle loads to find that perfect match for a gun setup. Freaking LOVE it. Just rubbing you on the optic, shits spendy I know.

And it ain't perfect l, but there are come calculators out there that can give you a decent estimate on muzzle velocity. You need the BC of the particular pill you have, powder info, barrel lenght, elevation, humidity etc.....but it'd nice to at least get an idea if you don't have the chrono.
