40 person roster on a football team. Someone out for the season. You had to get the new guy up and running.
The quicker they felt they were part of the team the better they played. Also others had to trust them to take care of business.
Did that make any sense?

As an aside.....Cats are easy candidates for hepatic lipidosis if they don't eat often enough.

My vet used that Latin on me  when we were new "patients" and I squinted up my eyes and thought a minute and interpreted it (from Anatomy in high school and college freshman--SO damn long ago it's scary) ....I said, "hepatic=liver.  lipid=fat. osis=disease.  hmmm.....fatty disease of the liver? "

She grinned, and said, "we just call it fatty liver" but she never used Latin on me again.

I got lucky.  I just happened to remember those bits.

Yea thats a combination of multiple classes actually.  First year medical school cell molecular bio, second year anatomy.  Third year pharmacology 1 and fourth year pathology 1 and path 2.  Thats a 4 years worth of medical knowledge wraped into one little paragraph explanation.  Hehe.

Once he fills in one week, we draw a line, write "Drug 1, Drug 2, Drug 3 and Drug 4 again, and start over until he fills up a sheet. We can get a month on one page.

Let's just say everyone is a different piece. If you turn it the right direction you get a beautiful picture.
Like a puzzle. They will fit themselves in to a certain extent. You just need to know where to place it.
They will find their way. You would find natural alliances of welcoming people and would say hang with them and they had instant friends.

Anyone see a parallel here?
Everyone is different and has a specialty. As a group we are stronger.

I'm working at it. But sometimes you need a little help.
I like these things, legs that is. When your thinking of cashing it in.
Ask some friends before you do it. They don't call it desperation for nothing. That kind of bothers me.
Maybe should have done it sooner. Just sucks dude.

Nobody more than myself. 11:45 and I am out wish me luck.
If I am posting later it didn't work. Feeling sleepy.
If the fire ants go away I will be at peace. Sleeping soundly.
Whats a person to do to get a decent nights sleep?

This is something you have NEVER seen from me. Goodnight.

Depending on the sleep med, could be pretty quick acting.

The alapralozam is pretty quick acting too...think about 20 mins.

Eta: the get in bed and take the pills thing isn't really an opinion, it's how pretty much any doc wants you to do it. Insomnia is a war that needs to be systematically fought. Once you take those things, be winning the war for sleep.

A hour? Not quite sure any suggestions?

The Drug 1, drug 2, etc...are the actual names of the drugs...
Like "plavix" statin (that's the anti-cholesterol) zoloft, aspirin, niacin (that's a mineral he takes to help with cholesterol) etc.

and he writes in the actual TIME he takes it.

That's better than an X because it's harder to cheat.

It keeps you more honest.

Simple, but it's the proof of what you have or have not done.

When he's on any kind of drug that affects his thinking, he forgets and he cheats. He gets up in the middle of the night and gets more.

We've learned this the hard way.

We write the time in that he took the meds.

Once he fills in one week, we draw a line, write "Drug 1, Drug 2, Drug 3 and Drug 4 again, and start over until he fills up a sheet. We can get a month on one page.

Sorry for the scary skeleton hand reaching into the photo. It's the shadow of me holding the phone.

The next accountability measure is to count your pills and write that next to the time you take them.
You will see if they don't add up.

We were taught about shock liver or fatty liver as the rich housewife disease.  Kids at school, eating Tylenol and xanex with "just on or two glasses of vino cant hurt anything" attitude

Yup very common.

Laymen terms, if drug is matabolized in liver, then dont mix with alcohol because it can swell up the hepatocytsles liver cells and cause acute liver failur. In a nutshell

Yea. Both are really great.  Anatomy was my favorite, especially neuro.  Good stuff.

Two things:

If you storm the Kremlin don't forget to invite me.

If you hold the chloroform rag too long the lips will get black burns on them.
