Good morning Sa/oU friends.

Feeling less than optimal this week, been a tough 1.  Think I'm coming down with something although not sure exactly what...  Been dragging ass for 3 days, nose is running, slight sore throat & cough, oh-well, whatever it is needs to move on.

Not to mention the passing of 1 of our own Jeep297.  Reading Christina's journal about his last moments was gut wrenching, in addition to mourning with so many others in a bucket of tears & sadness.

If it Friday yet?  Wish I could crawl in bed & stay there for a couple of days.

Hard to act tough at work after reading that this morning. I feel so so sad for his family and most if all him. Being the same age as him I think about all those hopes and dreams being stripped away right when you are getting started in life and it makes me sick to my stomach.

I know what you mean.  It was very dusty in my little cube today reading that.  I feel for his little girl, sadly she will only know stories of her Dad.

So what's the over under on 100,000. It's going to get butt F'ing cold during the winter in MN and he will have a lot to say and a lot of time to say it in.
Post yield to time online goes up substantially when he is snowed in. I got a virtual 50$ on mid February.
Hate to talk about you in the third person, Italian accent on. Nothing personal.

Your not kidding on dragging ass at work, this week has kicked my butt. And I remember seeing Jeeps original post about his returning cancer when he first made it. He's a brave good man, and while his daughter might not ever meet him, she will know him from the legacy of his deeds and the stories that her brave family share. She will always be proud of her papa, and he will always be smiling down on her.

I think I've finally recovered from my weekend just in time to do it all over again.  The lack of sleep had me feeling more zombie than human the first part of the week.

My daughter is fired up about fishing this weekend.  Says she's going to catch the biggest fish and eat it for dinner.  Now I'm under the gun to put her on the fish.  I have to scratch up some camel crickets somewhere.

Just go to the local tackle shop and get the regular brown crickets.  They work fine for crappie, bluegill, ect.

I think I've only seen those camel crickets once or twice in my life.  Thought they were some kind of mutant.

Regular crickets work fine but the camel crickets are like filet mignon to a trout.  I don't know what it is about 'em but they will almost walk on water to get them.  You can find them around in well houses and crawl spaces in the mountains where it's a little cooler in summer.

That may have been where I saw them, when I lived in the mountains of Western NC as a kid.

It was in the 50's here Tuesday morning.  I had to turn the heat on in the office for a second to knock the chill off.  The humidity is gone and 70-80 degrees actually feels nice again.

Yep the trees weren't that heavy, probably only a couple thousand lbs, but we were dropping them into courtyards and backyards, sometime with only a few inches of clearance from the houses. It was awesome though, park in one spot and put trees into 5 different houses. Running them looks like quite the job, I have experience on dozers and backhoes, running one of them looks like a whole other ballgame!

TGIF & good morning Sa/oU!!!

Feeling better this morning than I have all week, nice to have little bit of energy.  Working till about 3 then heading home to rest, shouldn't be that bad.

The leaves they are a changing, should be in full peak within the next 2 weeks.  More colorful @ the coast where work is, home is inland & peaks little slower.

Y'all have a great day, big hugs from here.

But you are really fucking old, so these pups don't know what you are saying.

Heck, I bet some are so stupid that they think wasps are bees.
Let's watch their replies to see if I am right.

Off early, had a easy day. Will get my daughter later and Friday is pizza night.
I hope you all had a great day and will have a better night.
Sounded like everyone seemed to be sick last weekend. We seem to have turned the corner on that.

Between the marrying off and betrothing and the procreation's. I have to ask.
Will you get a chance to go shooting before winter sets in?

Bought a couple of rare things around here. Beers for this weekend.
This should be our last 100+ degree day for this year.
