He's less than 2 pounds at 9 weeks. I was told they don't get much bigger than 4 lbs fully grown. I think toy poodle or teacup poodle. He's my GF's friend's dog. I'm kind of afraid of stepping on him.

It was more of a rhetorical question. Another way to say, but in more roundabout way, he's not a typical manly dog, but I still like him anyway.

A cat you have to walk?

No, cool companion, I have owned GSD's and they are great dogs.  I have a small dog now and my small dog attacked a rottweiler that wandered into the yard. Dogs of all breeds FTW.

He's all dog. He's pretty feisty, will nip at bigger dogs twice his size (which still isn't very big). I feel like Gulliver.

I inherited my grandfather's miniature poodle when he passed away and she was a cool little dog. My wife and I bought her for him and drove 6 hours roundtrip to get her. We had to have her put down 3 years ago and it killed us. She had really become a part of our family.

Yes.

But after looking at those pics, I guess I am, too.

That is just a cat with a different title. Useless dogs are just cats. A real dog should be able to protect you.

I would have no qualms about having a dog like that: chicks love cute, little dogs; a bag of dogfood lasts forever, their turds are tiny and bathtime is a breeze.

Little dogs are awesome, so are big dogs. Any dog can make a great member of the family.

That dog could bark and alert you, a type of protection.

It's cute.

Cut little thing.  Nothing wrong with a tiny dog unless you are looking for protection.  But he probably would still make a good alarm.

No worries a dog is a dog.  I had to ship my chihuahua of to the urban witness protection program (my Mom) after his Rotty and Chow Chow life buddies passed away because he would still insist on chasing yotes on our East San Diego rural home.

He was fearless, but without his two big buddies as back-up he was going to get turned into yote scat.

That aint a dag . . . . that's a sample .

Like previously mentioned countless times before , dogs are cool .

ALL breeds produce absolutely wonderful companions when raised right , many even after they've been liberated from asshole owners ....that lil' fella looks like a lot of fun

Little dogs like that usually have "heart" bigger than their physical stature.

I've got a Golden Retreiver and a mutt that weighs 150 lbs.

You're little guy would fit right in.

As long as it can climb stairs by itself, it's gtg. My friend had some tea cup something, and they lived in multi level home, the damn things couldn't get up the stairs, so they would go down, and then constantly bark for you bring then up, very annoying.

Any dog is a good dog.
My GF aunt had a teacup chihuahua.
Tiny dog with a big heart, and thought he was a guard dog to boot.

No, you're only a pansy for asking

We have a Lhasa, something like 9 pounds but thinks he's the size of a lion. Small dogs are cool.

Little dags can be cool dags.  But they make for crappy camping dags.  Too small to take care of themselves.

no, you're a pansy for caring what other people think about you. As far as the dog goes, it might look better if you took it to a groomer

I did not realize that a mans penis was measured by the size of his dog...

All dogs are great and you should not give two shits what anyone else thinks...(my 12 lb Mini Doxie who is laying on me as I type this....approves)

Our, errr...I mean my GF's chihuahua is the same way.
I've seen him chase a GSD out of his yard...'course I'm pretty sure the GSD was just startled that a chew toy could bark.

Pansy? No. That dog could be just as good company/companionship as any other. The "pansy" would be the male that is so insecure in their masculinity that they are concerned with what others may think of them by their choice of pets

My aunt has a teacup Yorkie that can climb a flight of stairs in about five seconds flat, with each step being about twice its height. Looks kind of like one of those long-haired guinea pigs, but a little bit smaller. More like a good sized rat.

Everyone should have a Shih-Tzu.  They are lap dogs without lapdog issues (barking, nipping) We have two and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
