I have a 2000 Sprint ST and a 2006 Thruxton. Both excellent rides.

I re-entered the motorcycling world with a 2001 Speed Triple. I traded the S3 in 2007 for a still in crate 2006 Sprint ST like the OP posted. The ST was traded for a leftover Hypermotard 1100S in 2009. The Hyper sat in the garage getting no love so now it's at a dealer in SC on consignment while I am currently in WIndsor ON.

Desertwolf, I wanna hear that exhaust!

ETA anyone else miss the old rat magazine and yearly rat patch??

Aren't you going full retard and putting a turbo/supercharger on that beast as well?

Love that exhaust, that's custom, right?

Just don't catch your pant leg on fire.

Yeah its custom. I've already set two pairs of jeans on fire and lit a few cigars off them. Took them off to weld in a cross tube and 02 bung, they're getting ceramic coated and wrapped.

I am going to eventually install the TTS super charger, it calls to me from the garage shelf ever time I think about it.

Just bought a 2013 Thruxton. I love the classic Euro bikes and cafe racers, had a 1976 BMW R90 back in the day.

Yes, because 240 NA horsepower is weak dude.

I can't imagine what that feels like on a bike...

I get a raging erection every time I get a chance to open it up. Its seriously a stupid amount of horsepower, and it is incredibly dangerous if not respected at ail times. I only get 4500 mi out of an expensive metzeler rear tire

Just put on a Biltwell Tracker bar, CRG 2" bar-ends, and mirror plugs.
Have BC's Ceramic Black Predators on order, with the K&N/SAI block off kit.
Plans:
- wrap headers in black wrap.
- paint headlight bucket black
- new tail light and turn signal kit, black
- reg Bonneville seat
Eventually:
- replace chrome case covers with black
- MAYBE black oversized BC wheel kit
- trim rear fender

God I love building things the way you want

Not a member of Rat, but a member of NTBF(new triumph bonneville forum), and I went with the approach of an old Bonnie, when I customized my '02 Bonneville.
I got some aftermarket skirted drop fenders, and then, when done fitting, I Powder-Coated all metal tin(fenders, sidecovers, tank) in a custom metallic deep red color.
I cut off the stock headpipe bends to be straight and put on a set of long fishtail pipes with baffles. Carbs are rejetted, along with better breathing intake filter. Stainless brake lines, and other external goodies.
Sorry, no pic, as computer crashed couple weeks ago and wiped out all my pic albums, and Bike right now, is up on lift being detailed in my Man Cave(shed) I built last Summer. Also waiting on a new aftermarket Nology Coil and a new Ignition Sensor, as I got the dreaded Lucas Curse that I need to sort out, that happens to these new Triumphs also.

When I was in highschool my Brother in law used to let me ride his 750 Bonneville around. Dang that bike was a chick magnet and a panty dropper! I wanted to buy it when he got rid of it but I was just too broke!
The idiot who did buy it had no respect for it and dumped it a couple times then junked it when he blew the engine.

I really want one of these.  I actually like the short, single seat. I was looking around for a used one and wow, Bonneville's really hold their value, unlike my beloved Sprint, Matilda, which I wouldn't even consider selling her for what I could get for her...maybe $4kish.
