The Maryland house passed an amended version of SB281 yesterday. It will now go to the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee. They will debate the bill and decide if it will go to the floor AS IS for an up down vote or be referred directly to special conference. PLEASE contact members of the SJP by phone and demand that they let you know what time the SJP hearing will commence. If the cannot tell you, ask that they call to back with the information.
