Did the oilpan dump its contents, or is that just a darker dirt that was exposed?
In before those that say it sucks because it can't handle this... |

I'll never understand how people with so much money (those are not cheap vehicles) can have so little sense. If you're going to do stupid shit like that and can afford a Raptor, why not get a beater that won't matter when it gets the frame bent, engine destroyed, suspension broken, etc when you jump a truck like that? Not to mention the possible neck injuries.

Seemed like a perfectly good truck. Who has enough money to trash a perfectly good truck? |

Dont worry, its under warranty. lol I wonder how that would go with the dealer....."It all started, with hold my beer, and watch this...." |

Jumping more than 2 tons 25 feet? What could possibly go wrong?
...and am I the only one that subconsciously heard the horn from the General Lee when that truck was in the air? |
|
At least there will be plenty of Raptor parts in the junkyards to go around.
|
|
Raptor is marketed as being built for that kind of stuff. its shitty for a commute to work, tow the boat, haul firewood kinda truck. But when you use it for what its allegedly built to do well, you break it.

"Like a good neighbor State Farm is there!"
Poof. "Help. Jenny, my back." "Fuck you stupid". |

Should have bought an ecoboost F-150 and put the extra money he saved toward a baja buggy... would have ended up much better for him.
|
|
For what he paid for the raptor he could have bought two new Toyota prerunners, totaled one screweing around and had another to drive home.
|
|
You know there was a "Hold my beer and watch this" uttered here.

Owner: "I went over a bump, and this weak truck fell apart. I demand replacement under the Lemon Law."
Dealer: "Why is the dashboard airbag cover held together with duct tape, and why is there some of the bag poking out?" Owner: "It's a known problem with the Raptor. Go look it up. I was just minding my own business driving home from church when this happened." |

It's an F-150 with some upgrades, mostly graphic and cosmetic. Same thing with those Z71, Big Horn, Big Ram, Rams Horn or whatever Dodge calls theirs, TRD, Jeep's mall rated s.u.v.s and minivans. Nothing was done in any of these factory option packages that should lead an owner to believe that anything like that should be attempted, ever, no matter how drunk they may be.

Right way, means spending more money to make it an actual off road vehicle. |
|
Complete with drunk rednecks and trailers in the background.
.. and people wonder where that stereotype comes from. |
