So, they never once stopped to think that the reason for the soaring crime rates in that city is ineffectual leadership, anemic law enforcement and a government unwilling to recognize that they have been worrying about banning guns decades after they in fact did ban guns. Time spent pointing fingers at phantoms and tilting at windmills could have been spent preparing their law enforcement agencies to deal with the real issues, rampant street gangs.

The government in Chicago is so concerned with making sure that the law abiding citizens of their city aren't able to get guns, that they complete ignore the fact that their law enforcement agencies have become impotent and atrophied. The gangs don't fear the law, and have no reason to fear the law. Hell, if they want to make sure there is no possible way they will get caught doing something all they have to do is call a tip line and claim that they saw some guy across town with a gun in his apartment, the cops will send the entire department over to raid the place.

I think I might understand the theory. The warmer temperatures are causing people to be out and about more than they normally would this time of year which leads to more unpleasantness in the windy city.

LOL. This was on AMC last night with cliff notes while the movie played. It was awesome.

For instance, Arnold gets skinner as the movie progresses. Apparently, he did not trust the Mexican food and didn't eat a lot. Also, the heli pilot at the end of the movie was the guy who played the predator.
