Accent sounds forced, mannerisms are mannish while trying to be seductive... The commercials look like a really good concept that was then put together by the wrong production crew. A good scots accent has a nice sound and flow to it, she's close and might actually be legit, but it SOUNDS off to me and the rest of it feels off. The whole commercial has started to bug me actually. With the sound off it's much better, but still not quite right. The body language is off. A bad stripper could have played the role better and been dubbed over.

eta: just read more of the posts, guess I wasn't mistaken about the accent and that explains why it sounds close but off. I'll give her this, in a still shot she's hot as hell, and not just for her age.

Dewars is the first commercial where I actually saw someone - Claire- consume an alcoholic beverage. Alcohol commercials in the US never show anybody actually drink the product. I think it's an unwritten rule in the industry, not sure.
